October 2010 MSBA Open Competition
Congratulations to all our competitors who took part in the MSBA Open competition on 10 October 2010. The competion was open to ITF TaeKwon-Do and Korean Kickboxing competitors. Six medals out of a possible eight were won by our competitors! A great achievement considering this was a first competion for three of the four competitors!
The following competitiors won medals:
Annabel Cooper - Silver in Green to Red belt sparring, Julia Vazsonyi - Gold in White to Yellow Belt Sparring, Jenny Devlin - Silver in White Belt patterns and Bronze in White to Yellow Belt Sparring, Robert Duncan - Gold in White Belts Patterns and Silver in male White to Yellow belt sparring.
June 2009 UKTF British Championships
Leith TKD would like to congratulate all our competitors who took part in the British Championships on 13 June 2009. A total of 10 events were entered by the Leith Team resulting in seven medals.
September 2008 Black Belt Exam Results
Leith TKD would like to congratulate Mr Martin Allan on being promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt and Dr Jason Caroll on his promotion to 1st Degree Black Belt. Both were assessed by Master Sutherland (8th Degree), Master Thomson (7th Degree) and Mr Derek Gilmour (5th Degree) on 28 September 2008 at Master Sutherland's Blackbelt Academy in Bathgate.

Leith TKD would like to congratulate the following members on their recent promotion. All were assessed by Master Sutherland (8th Degree) on 26 September 2008.
Ashley Douglas - Promoted to 4th Kup, Sam Gorman - Promoted to 6th Kup, Brian Bathgate - Promoted to 9th Kup
Scott Saunders - Promoted to 9th Kup
UKTF British Championships 2008
Leith TKD would like to congratulate all members who took part and competed at the UKTF British Championships in Perth on Saturday 14 June 2008. All competitors were competing against tough competition. Special congratulations go to Craig Henderson (8th Kup) who won gold medals in Pattens and Special Technique and is now the UKTF British Champion for both disciplines. We would also like to congratulate Ashley Douglas (5th Kup) and Sam Gorman (7th Kup) for winning Bronze medals for sparring in their respective divisions.
